help please.
I configured the belkin message manager F1PG111EN and I can make calls but not receive them.
Here are the settings:
Domain Name > vbuzzer.com
Expire Time> 3600
Register Server Address> 209.47.41.48
Proxy Server Address > 209.47.41.48:80
Phone Number> vbuzzer.com
Authentication ID > my vbuzzer ID
Password > my vbuzzer PWD
Retype Password > my vbuzzer PWD
There are also hidden settings for stun server...I tried with both ON or OFF and still the same. Incoming calls go directly to the vbuzzer answering machine.
Help is appreciated.
Thanks. |

Phone Number> vbuzzer.com
Please set Phone Number to your vBuzzer ID because vBuzzer routes based on vBuzzer account.
If it does not help, please write to vBuzzer support. _________________ Senior Bee |

unfortunately, the Phone Number field accepts only numeric values. When I tried typing the user ID there it only resets to the numeric values.
I can change the numbers though so it's not that the settings do not 'stick'.
Thanks anyway. |

Then try to apply a numeric vbuzzer account. It could be a work around.

Thanks for the reply...I tried using the numeric values and still the same.
The vbuzzer support was great and they answered that it is a keep alive problem (NAT), however the adapter has no other option but enable/disable NAT at that doesn't do it.
I am using wrtp54g linksys boxes at home and they work great.
I had this one extra so I wanted to make it work but it's impossible.
The same problem I have with DVG-1402s Dlink box.
Leslie posted a 'working' solution but never said what firmware was in the box since I am missing the NAT ping option - the one that's causing the problem. Outgoing fine, incoming only for a couple of minutes after the reboot.
If anybody has answers please post them here.
Thanks. |

| Please set Register Expiration much shorter, about 120 seconds. The short Register Expiration can take place of NAT ping. |

Thanks for the suggestion but it didn't work. Register expiration accepts 1800 sec as the lowest value.
Here are the rest of the settings the DVG-1402s firmware (019/036/041-049) has:
Initial Unregister ->enabled
Register Expiration ->1800sec
Session Expires ->120sec
Min-SE ->10sec
Session Expires Refresher -> uac or uas - I tried with both and there seems to no difference.
If you still have some suggestion or another version of firmware please post it here.
Thank you once again.
PS. I kind of gave up on Belkin Message Manager since it would not receive calls no matter what. |
